THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS

You can apply for preschool in just a few steps. Here is the process:

Prior to enrolling at Nelson County Early Learning Centers, your child will participate in a screening where their developmental skills are assessed to ensure we are meeting your child where they are developmentally upon day one. This allows our LEADERS to support your child’s communication, cognitive, motor, self-help/adaptive and social-emotional skills as well as address any family concerns.

Required documents

PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT— Birth Certificate; Proof of Residency; Household & Income Form

UPON ENROLLMENT — Current KY Immunization Certificate; KY Physical Exam Form; Proof of Eye Exam; Social Security Card; Legal Custody Papers (if applicable)

Once your Online Registration is complete, you will need to schedule a screening appointment by calling 502-350-3914 or emailing our Family Caretaker - Jessica Boone jessica.boone@nelson.kyschools.us
